About
J Rister Custom Homes is owned and operated by Jerod Rister of Lubbock, TX. He began a woodworking apprenticeship in high school. He graduated from Texas Tech in 2007 with a business degree and continued in the trade of woodworking, home building and the creative artistry side of the business.
Jerod's cabinet and trim shop, Stellar Woodworks, is still in operation and provides the unique design elements and solid construction you see in all his homes.
Jerod is married to his wife, Whitney, and they have two children. In his spare time, he enjoys wakeboarding and family time at the lake.

Jase and Jerod Rister are brothers and custom home builders.
Together they comprise J Rister Custom Homes.
Jase has been in the construction business for over a decade and was trained in cabinet and trim woodwork.
He has a unique eye for detail and contemporary building. He brings fresh design ideas to the table and has a tremendous work ethic.
Jase is married to his wife, Kate, Owner and Travel Agent at Wanderlust Vacation Company, and they have one daughter.
